Inca trail to Machupicchu   - Duration: 4 days / 3 night - Season: March - January - Dificulty: Moderate - Group size: 4 to 16 people (aver. 10)   Itinerary Day 1: CUSCO - PISKACUCHU - WAYLLABAMBA We will depart from Cusco and travel to Urubamba where we will stop briefly at Ollantaytambo, where you can buy last minute gear and personal needs. Then, we move on to Piskacuchu (Km 82) and the start of the Inka Trail. We will have lunch in Miskay and relax a bit before hiking to our first campsite. Along the way we will visit the Llactapata archeological site. Lunch and dinner are included. Day 2: WAYLLABAMBA - WARMIWANUSCA - PACAYMAYO We'll start the day, early in the morning, with a hearty breakfast, and then hike up to the highest point of the Inka Trail. Here, we can literally see the various ecological zones and microclimates, which make up the area, mapped out in front of us. We will cross the Warmiwanusca pass at 4,200 meters/13,780 feet above sea level. After lunch we will continue on to the Pacaymayo campsite, where we will enjoy dinner and a well deserved rest. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Day 3: PACAYMAYO - CHAQ'ICOCHA - WINAYWAYNA Day 3 begins with a nutritious breakfast and then a 45-minute hike up to the second highest pass on the Trail (3,850 meters/12,631 feet above sea level), and along the way we will visit the Runcuracay archeological site. During the day's hike, we will also visit the Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca archeological complexes. After lunch we will head to the Winaywayna ruins, where we will spend our last night on the Trail. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Day 4: WINAYWAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO After an early breakfast, we begin the final leg of the trek to the lost city of Machupicchu. First, we will hike to Inti Punku ("Sun Gate"), where we will take in an awesome panoramic view of the Machupicchu citadel. After a short hike down to Machupicchu, we will enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the sanctuary-city. After the tour of Machupicchu, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes where we will have a buffet lunch and some free time afterward to enjoy the town before returning to Cusco by train. Camino Inca a Machupicchu   - Duración: 4 dias / 3 noches - Temporada: Marzo - Enero - Dificultad: Moderado - Tamaño de grupo: 4 a 16 personas (Promedio 10)   Itinerario Día 1.- CUSCO - PISKACUCHO - WAYLLABAMBA Los transportamos desde su hotel en nuestro cómodo bus privado, luego de atravesar las localidades de Chincheros, Urubamba y Ollantaytambo en "Valle Sagrado de los Incas" nos dirigimos a Piskacucho en el Km. 82 de la vía férrea Cusco - Machupicchu, lugar de inicio de nuestro trekking. Almorzamos en Hatunchaca con una parada de 1 hora y 30 minutos aproximadamente, luego reiniciamos la caminata hacia el primer campamento en Wayllabamba. Almuerzo y cena incluido Día 2.- WAYLLABAMBA - WARMIWAÑUSCA - PAQAYMAYU Se inicia la caminata hacia el punto más alto del Camino Inca, donde podremos observar diferentes microclimas pasando del bosque lluvioso de Yuncachimpa a la puna de Warmiwañusca a 4,200 m.s.n.m. luego de atravesar este paso nos dispondremos a almorzar, este día finaliza acampando en el sector de Paqaymayu. Desayuno, almuerzo y cena incluido Día 3.- PAQAYMAYU - CHAQ´ICOCHA - WIÑAYWAYNA Luego de recorrer 45 minutos llegamos al segundo paso a 3,850 m.s.n.m., con previa visita al grupo Arqueológico de Runkurakay, luego descendemos al grupo Arqueológico de Sayacmarca, para posteriormente reiniciar la caminata con dirección a Phuyupatamarca donde almorzamos. Llegada a Wiñaywayna y visita al Grupo Arqueológico del mismo nombre, tiempo libre y cena. Desayuno, almuerzo y cena incluido Día 4.- WIÑAYWAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO Inicio de la Caminata con dirección a Machupicchu. Arribo al sector de Inti Punku, desde donde podremos apreciar la majestuosa ciudadela de Machupicchu. Luego de registra nuestra llegada iniciamos la visita guiada a la ciudadela, tour que dura aproximadamente 2 horas y media, posteriormente descendemos en bus a la población de Aguas Calientes para finalmente retornar a la ciudad del Cusco en el tren.
